How Islam Teaches Us to Be Better Humans:

Islam, a religion of peace and submission to the will of Allah, offers comprehensive guidance on how to improve ourselves and become better individuals.

This guidance is rooted in the Quran and Hadith, providing clear examples and teachings that are relevant and applicable in today’s world. By embracing these teachings, we can enhance our character, relationships, and contribution to society.

Embracing Compassion and Mercy

One of the core teachings of Islam is compassion and mercy, qualities that are emphasized repeatedly in the Quran and Hadith.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is described in the Quran as a “Mercy to the worlds” (Quran 21:107).

This highlights the importance of being merciful and compassionate towards others, regardless of their background or beliefs.

A Hadith further illustrates this point, where the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said,

“The merciful are shown mercy by the Merciful. Be merciful on the earth, and you will be shown mercy from who is in the heavens” (Tirmidhi).

This teaches us to adopt a compassionate approach in all our interactions, promoting a society built on understanding and kindness.
